I’m an interdisciplinary designer with a background in film, psychology, and marketing.
I seek to transform complex tasks into simple and delightful experiences. My work is inspired by my multi-cultural background and time attending a women’s college. I graduated from Wellesley College in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts and Sciences. Through my studies in fine arts and psychology, I discovered my love for learning about the intersection between technology and human behavior. This discovery led me to pursue a career in UX Design. When I’m not designing I enjoy singing, drumming, and capturing special moments on video.

The Pill Club // Product Design Intern
"Nurah is one of the most talented junior designers I know. She is intuitive and thoughtful, dissects feedback with confidence, and gives a killer presentation. In her 8-week internship at The Pill Club, I saw her grow exponentially in confidence and quality of work every single week. Nurah proactively sought out collaborative projects with other interns and employees, building relationships with ease. She knew exactly what she wanted to explore more in every design review and never failed to have new ideas. Her problem solving skills and creativity led her to design delightful experiences that excited everyone she presented to. Nurah is and will be a strong designer as she grows in her career."

Brewster Home Fashions // Marketing Intern
"Nurah was an absolute pleasure to have on the marketing team at Brewster Home Fashions. Over the past two years, her writing skills have exponentially improved, as has her proofreading abilities. Her blog posts were both creative and expertly crafted, leading to an increase in engagement and views from our followers. I believe that any team would be lucky to have Nurah and I can't wait to see where her employment journey takes her!"

Worcester Art Museum // Marketing Intern
"This summer Nurah worked in the Worcester Art Museum marketing office, helping to promote the Salisbury Cultural District (SCD), of which the Museum is a major stakeholder. Nurah energized the district's social media with regular posts, Instagram stories, and new photography. Her major project was completing an engaging new marketing video, which features all of the SCD organizations and which will be posted soon on the district's website. Nurah was a delight to work with, exhibiting maturity, responsibility, initiative, and creativity. I hope she comes back next summer."
